I’ve befriended many animals on my life’s journey, and my writing, whether fiction or nonfiction, reflects my efforts to fondly remember, shed a laugh or tear, and thank God for all His remarkable creatures. I truly believe these encounters have been an integral part of making me who I am today – an avowed ‘animal person.’ Curious Creatures-Wondrous Waifs, My Life with Animals has won a Certificate of Excellence in the 2004 International Cat Writers' Association Communications Contest.
